Family Fun Day

First of all before all the pictures, a huge thank you to everyone who made the effort to come 
along and take part in an afternoon of fun and laughter. It was nice to see so many people, helped of 
course by the fantastic weather. A big thank you to 'Pistol' Pete Davis for his input so to the Hawkins, Pinker and Whincup families. Thanks Tucky for the 'Splat the Rat' and I apologise if I have left anyone 
out, thank you nonetheless.

As far as the cricket was concerned The Grumpy Old Men had to finally concede their title, 
although not without a good deal of effort on their part and some......how can I put this......ah yes, 
good old fashioned cheating on occasions. It nearly worked I guess, never mind, next year maybe. There may be even more grumpy old men to choose from by then.

Cricket was the winner however and well done to FBang, the new title holders of the 
Frocester Tapeball Challenge. Well done also to the boys and girls from the other teams whose 
enthusiasm and athleticism kindled something in my memory banks when I too was that keen and eager
to run around in the heat. Yes I know I have a good memory!
